Directing Excellence
Performance Recognition
As you know, bringing a production to life takes countless hours of dedication and hard work. We are incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud of our team.
We’re also excited that our current production, MR. PARKER, will be eligible for awards at this time next year. Stay tuned!
After a chasm of over two decades, thirty-three-year-old Jacobo reignites a connection with José Luis, a fifty-year-old Catholic priest navigating the twilight of his clerical life amid swirling allegations that have cast a shadow over his sacred vows. Jacobo's youth was marked by a profound rupture leaving behind a fissure of turbulence and unresolved longing.
Yet, Salt Water delves beyond the surface of these troubled waters, revealing undercurrents of enduring, if conflicted, attachment. As Jacobo wrestles with a maelstrom of resentment and the forbidden whispers of affection for José Luis, Pineda crafts a narrative that challenges the viewer to navigate the murky depths of human connections. Set against the evocative backdrop of a Colombian coastal town, where the sea mirrors the story's emotional tumult.
Bear Week Diaries follows the story of David and Ryan who meet in Provincetown, Massachusetts, during Bear Week, where men from all over the world gather to have fun, dance, and flirt, embracing their bodies that defy conventional stereotypes.
In a hybrid of documentary and fiction, the film explores the complexities of this gay community on various levels, with vibrant images of parties, the calm of the sea and dunes of Provincetown, massive dance floors, and romantic evenings on moonlit piers, posing the question: how do we all relate to a body that ages every day?
