Your support amplifies LGBTQIA+ voices, fuels groundbreaking theater and film, and builds a year-round home for queer storytelling in Chicago.
This fall, we present the American premiere of the off–West End hit GANGSTA BABY, featuring writer/star Cameron Raasdal-Munro and directed by the award-winning Rikki Beadle-Blair, MBE, in our intimate Uptown storefront theater. Coming this winter, we stage a daring new adaptation of DORIAN, reimagining Wilde’s classic for today.
Meanwhile, our QUEER EXPRESSION Film Fest brings international queer cinema to Chicago with in-person screenings at Facets Film Forum in Lincoln Park—including the moving drama UNSPOKEN (Sept 27) and the provocative Danish film SAUNA (Oct 27). Alongside these premieres, OSA streams a wide range of queer features and shorts year-round, reaching audiences across Chicago and around the globe.
In just our first year of eligibility, OSA proudly earned top honors at the 2024 Joseph Jefferson Awards, including Best Production – Short Run (COCK) and Best Direction – Short Run (LIGHT SWITCH).
Now, we’re building on that momentum—and we’d love for you to be part of it.
