AUDITION NOTICE: “DORIAN” at Open Space Arts
Three Queer Character Actors to Play 17 Roles
Open Space Arts invites you to audition for DORIAN, a new wild and wicked take on Wilde, celebrity, and reinvention—written by Phoebe Eclair-Powell and Owen Horsley, and directed by Aaron Holland. This highly theatrical production blends satire, pop culture, and camp to reimagine The Picture of Dorian Gray like you’ve never seen it.
We’re looking for three versatile, queer-identifying performers to play a total of 17 characters. If you’re the type who usually lands the quirky best friend, scene-stealing sidekick, or multi-role swing—we want YOU. This is not a show for traditional leads or ingenues. Big choices, big voices, and big fun.
Come ready to play. Come ready to sparkle. Come ready to transform. Stipend $400, plus additional fee if show extends.
Performances November 28 to December 14.
To submit: Send an email with a short note about why this project appeals to you, along with your audition tape by August 10 to OSAAuditions@gmail.com.
